About:

A time limited service (1 year for members starting after March 2023) that provides supervised work and vocational training for a member within a contracted vendor's facility where most of the workers have a disability. Members are paid based upon their productivity.

Center-based employment (CBE) is a program that provides supervised work and vocational training for a member within a contracted vendor's facility where most of the workers have a disability. Members develop skills and prepare for community employment by working on tasks like assembly, packaging, or other production activities in a controlled environment.

Services:

• Structured Environment: Members learn and work in a protected setting, at their own pace with support from staff
• Vocational Training: Program focuses on developing job-related skills like work habits, following instructions, and meeting production quotas
• Individualized Support: Copa staff provide tailored coaching and guidance to address each member's specific needs and challenges
• Members are paid based on their productivity
